I am looking at buying a 3010 with front loader. The dealer said that I could get the heavy duty front bucket for $330 more....it is 60" (normal) but weighs 90lbs more. Is this worth it? Will I need the extra strength? Your help is appreciated.Oh, by the way he qouted $17,500 for 3010, HST, Front loader (normal bucket), Folding ROP and Ag tires!!!!

Doug,I own an L3010 with heavy duty bucket on loader. My dealer said he advises use of this bucket on all sales. I have used mine to move snow, dirt, gravel, and most punishing, a 200 ft. section of old stone row about 2 ft. high and 6 ft. wide. Bucket paint is worn off but bucket is all OK. I have hooks welded on top edges and center and have lifted heavy items (gun safe, wood/coal furnace)...no bends or buckles anywhere. I have never had any other bucket so I can't compare.. just relate the facts. I paid 18,900 for L3010HST, R4 tires, loader, hvy dty bucket, weight box (used), slide-on trailer hitch with 2" ball(made up in shop),and worklite. ....
